IT & Hosting Support Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor servers for stability and take proactive and reactive measures to correct and prevent issues
- Support customers for Level-1 technical requests
- Install, configure and maintain hardware used by/for NetShop ISP’s internal operations and its customers
- Assist with general IT housekeeping duties
- Monitor tickets and tasks queues to ensure all requests are handled as per the company’s Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Manage inventory
- Assist with logistics of IT equipment deliveries at NetShop ISP’s global Data Centers
- Liaise with other departments within the company to support customers
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience with Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems
- Experience with Server Hardware
- Basic knowledge of Networking (CCNA Certification will be considered a plus)
- Sufficient knowledge of web hosting services such as SSL Certificates, DNS, Email, FTP, cPanel, Plesk, etc
- Good understanding of web hosting products such as shared & reseller web hosting, Virtual and Dedicated servers, and Colocation
- Familiarity with helpdesk & ticketing systems
- Outstanding customer service skills and a dedication to the customer service experience
- Excellent professional written & oral communication skills in both English and Greek
- Passion for technology and willingness to learn new skills
- Analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
