The Malta Gaming Authority informs its licensees and the general public that with the coming into effect of the new Gaming Act (Cap. 583 of the Laws of Malta), the administrative treatment of what beforehand used to be called ‘intermediaries’ is to be surveyed in light of the Gaming Authorisations Regulations (S.L. 583.05) [the ‘Regulations’] and the Gaming Authorisations and Compliance (Directive 3 of 2018) [the ‘Directive’].
This Guidance Note is intended to elucidate promote the utilization of the Regulations and Directive to these operational game plans.
The new Gaming Act came into effect on 1st of August 2018 after the approval from the Maltese Parliament on 31st of March 2018.
