Web Developer

We are looking for a talented individual with passion for programming to join our Web Development team. As a Junior Web Developer you will be part of a highly skilled team responsible for developing and maintaining websites and web-based applications that are used both internally and by Customers.

You will be part of a highly skilled team responsible for developing and maintaining websites and web-based applications that are used both internally and by Customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress and plain HTML/CSS websites, from build to launch
• Implement new features and functionality for React/PHP websites and applications with minimal supervision
• Optimize website performance through caching, asset optimization, database tuning and other techniques
• Contribute to website and application design, translating requirements into practical technical solutions
• Test, debug and maintain front-end and back-end applications, ensuring stability and code quality
• Work closely with developers and other teams to plan and deliver new web features
• Participate in code reviews and support junior team members where needed
• Stay up to date with current technologies and programming trends, and suggest improvements to existing tools and workflows
• Analyze user and client feedback to identify, troubleshoot and resolve website issues
• Respect and maintain as confidential all information or data relating to the Company’s operations and ensure that the disclosure of any such information is not permitted.
• Perform his/her duties in good faith and ensure the compliance of the Company’s activities with the relevant legislation.
• Follow the staff regulations and set an example.
• Perform any other duties as decided by his/her supervisors.
• Manage own tasks and assigned projects within the department, ensuring realistic deadlines are set and met.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of PHP programming language
• Knowledge of web technologies such as Javascript and familiar with frameworks/libraries such as JQuery and React
• In-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
• Ability to communicate and work efficiently within set guidelines

Additional/Optional Skills

• Experience with Claude Code will be considered a plus.
