About LD4 Data Center
Equinix LD4 was established in 2007 when it was still part of IXEurope. It was the first of a new wave of data centers launched around London during the booming data center market that year. The site was developed in two phases: the first 50,000 sq ft opened in December 2007, and a second phase of similar size followed in 2008.
Since its launch in 2007, Equinix's LD4 facility has become a cornerstone of the financial 'data center ecosystem'. It is now one of the top three financial trading hubs in London. The LD4 facility is a key data center site for FX trading, featuring companies like LMAX and NAGA.
