A world leading sports betting solutions provider SBTech announced Monday that it has secured a full Class 4 Remote Gaming Licence from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).
The licence is a latest addition to SBTech’s growing portfolio of European permits. The news about the company receiving the certification corresponds with the firm’s plans to expand its operations in the European market and beyond it.
SBTech specialises in equipping international operators with best-quality intelligent, localised sportsbook offer which is the effect of the great knowledge and expertise expressed by recently continually growing SBTech.
CEO of SBTech, Richard Carter, announced: “Our ongoing strategy is to increase the number of markets we are licensed to operate in, in order to offer our tailor-made services to the new generation of Sportbetting platforms. Thanks to the efficiency and professionalism of both the Maltese Gaming Authority and our in-house legal team, I am delighted to confirm that we have fulfilled all the requirements and have secured this much sought-after licence.”
SBTech now plans to strengthen its position as a leading provider of bespoke sportsbooks to operators in regulated markets and aims to use the MGA licence as a “springboard” to expand its business further. It already works with Malta-based clients ComeOn and NetBet, and expects to supply its solutions to a range of other Malta-licensed operators in the near future.
MGA executive chairman Joseph Cuschieri said it was a pleasure to work with the SBTech team during the licensing process: “We are proud of the fact that our regulatory and technical standards are some of the most demanding in the global gaming industry, and we were satisfied with the company’s diligence and thoroughness in providing us with all the information we required at every stage of the license process.”
